The Little Things Classroom Gratitude Challenge is a 21-Day challenge designed to bring more joy and fulfillment to you and your students. It is ideal for grades 3-6, but can be easily adapted for younger or older students.

Our students are growing up in a challenging time and can easily miss the number one element to a happy life - GRATITUDE...Gratitude for what they have and who they are; gratitude not only for the big things in life, but more importantly, for the small moments in life - "the little things" - that they often take for granted.

In as little as 5 minutes a day, this challenge will teach your students strategies for a happier life. They'll learn about the benefits of a gratitude practice, mindfulness, some brain science behind their thoughts and emotions, how to build stronger relationships, and more.

If you're noticing these trends in the classroom,

you're in the right place ...

  • Disconnected or unmotivated students
  • Feelings of not being, having, or doing enough
  • Unappreciation
  • Negative energy from your students, or even yourself

Or maybe you ...

  • Already practice gratitude and want to share this awesome habit with your students
  • Enjoy trying new and inspiring things in the classroom
  • Love feeling good and sharing those positive feelings with others
  • Believe in the power of gratitude

Why gratitude?

Gratitude is proven to be one of the healthiest of all human emotions. It is behind every success. There is a plethora of research to show how important it is in our overall happiness and sense of fulfillment.

It is truly one of the easiest and quickest ways to boost our mood and sense of joy. There are countless benefits that come from practicing gratitude.

Some of these include:

  • Increases feelings of happiness, joy, and empathy
  • Decreases feelings of stress, depression, and anxiety
  • Improves communication skills
  • Strengthens relationships
  • Strengthens the immune system and lowers blood pressure
  • Improves problem solving skills, creativity, and resilience
  • Helps with emotional regulation
  • Increases feelings of self-worth and self-esteem

What's included in the challenge:

You can read or listen to each 2-5 minute mini-lesson, as each lesson is written and recorded in an audio format. Lessons cover the importance and benefits of gratitude, as well as related topics such as mindfulness, thoughts & emotions, affirmations, and more.

Prompts are creative and engaging and cover 21 different topics (because "What are you grateful for?" can only be used so much!)

Inspiring daily quotes can be displayed on the board and are a great launching pad for amazing discussions!

In case you want to extend the lessons beyond the 5 minute mini-lesson, you can choose to complete an optional activity each day that relates to the day's mini-lesson and prompt. Optional activities are inter-disciplinary and cover curriculum areas such as language arts, science, phys ed, and the arts.

A printable PDF gratitude journal customized for this challenge, so students can record their reflections all in one place.

Any blackline masters needed for optional activities are included with that day's lesson.

Inside your portal you'll find all the lessons, prompts, quotes, and blackline masters that you'll need to complete the 21-day challenge which you can access for 60 days.

You can join our Facebook Group of Fulfilled Teachers who are on the path to bringing more joy and fulfillment to their classrooms.

Strengthen your classroom

Your classroom will connect on a deeper level as students share an appreciation for themselves and one another.

Feel good

You'll be amazed at how good it feels when you commit to a daily gratitude practice.

Attract positivity

What we appreciate appreciates. And what we focus on grows. After 21 days of focusing on the good stuff, you and your students will notice all kinds of positivity popping up in your lives.

"Your students will feel happier and more energized."

"If gratitude became a mandatory subject in schools, we would see a generation of children who would advance our civilization through spectacular accomplishments and discoveries, obliterating disagreements, ending wars, and bringing peace to the world."

~ Rhonda Byrne, author of The Secret series

The ideal grades for this challenge would be grades 3-6. With that said, there have been high school teachers and primary teachers that have used in their classroom with a little adapting. The concepts themselves are really for any age!

Although this challenge focuses largely on developing a sense of gratitude and appreciation, it also covers SEL skills such as identifying and managing emotions, maintaining positive motivation and perseverance, recognizing and coping with sources of stress, building relationships, and developing self-awareness and self-confidence.

You will have access to the online membership portal that houses the challenge. We also send you an email each day with the link and daily topic so you don't have to go searching for the portal. Since teachers have a lot of things on the go, a daily email is there to act as a reminder and easy access to that day's lesson.

You will have access to the 21-day challenge and the members portal for four months after your purchase.

The challenge is $17. For less than $1/day you can transform your classroom culture!
